Banned for no reason : (Code=45) WTF
Hello, I have been playing Guild Wars for about 3-4 Years now, and i came back this week from 8 months of college work, because i couldn't play while i was doing college work, then i get a Code=45 Account has been Blocked message, I do not know what has happened, i have posted 2 messages on ncsoft support website but i have got no reply so far, i have not done anything against the rules, and i just came back with this, i heard there was a mass ban, and i wonder if my account was banned for that, i just want to know what actually happened and i would most like if i got my account back, but they have not replied in 4 days so far, and would like to know how you would deal with this situation, i have also got an Aion account that i don't use, so im not sure if that is banned too, please help.
Thanks! |

Accounts that were involved in botting and match manipulation were banned en masse a while back. If you did either of those things, even if it was years ago, they may have banned you for that. If you did neither of those things, then good luck getting your account back, but everyone here will be skeptical at best.

You can try sending a support ticket to Anet explaining your situation. From what I've read from similar posts majority of the people who have sent one have only gotten back automated replies, or Anet have outright refused to take problem even further. Make sure you have all the information they ask for like the keys, any card numbers you've used etc. Try the ticket thing a few times. If they still persist in the automated messages or are outright ignoring you, you can try on Gaile's wiki page.
If you haven't used any third party programme in all your accounts life then be prepared to prove that you haven't been on your account at the time you were at college. I for one am willing to give the benefit of the doubt and wish you luck in getting your account back. |

We recently had a poster with a similar problem who found out that his account had been blocked to prevent it being hacked after some attempt to steal had been noted by Support. So if you haven't run any bots, you might eventually get your account unblocked.
Here is a link to the wiki page for Codes; you will note there is more than one reason for Code=045 You can try emailing to [email protected] with Code=045 in the subject and wait for a response. Include your account name and access keys in the body of the message, so they will know you are the legal owner and explain the situation politely. You should also included your support ticket number so they can match it up.

The only thing you can do is fill out a Support Ticket via the NCsoft website or plaync.com and explain the situation, then sit back and wait for a response.
